The successful candidate will be an HSI^® Team Leader responsible for a small team of Human Factors Consultants within the Operations Group.

Qualifications / Experience
PhD or Master’s Degree in Industrial or Systems Engineering; Applied Cognitive Psychology or Human Factors, preferably with an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, Psychology or other related Human Factors discipline.

10-15 years experience in Applied Cognitive and Human Factors project work.  Proven track record in networking and Business Development.  Project management experience required – PMI designation an asset.  Previous industrial and/or military field trial experience required. 

Compensation / Conditions
HSI® offers a competitive salary and benefits package. HSI® staff work full time in Guelph, Ontario, but travel frequently in Canada and occasionally to the U.S. or Europe. You should enjoy working to deadlines in small multi-disciplinary groups. You must be willing to work away from home on field studies lasting from 1-3 weeks 2-3 times/year; and on outdoor studies in a range of settings and to obtain any security clearances needed for work on military projects or nuclear energy projects.
